Long story short- I have been operating my car for about two years with the headlight motors making an awful noise due to the gear being stripped. Every time I would use the key fob to lock / unlock the car doors, the head lights would pop up and then down and make a bad noise as the gear was stripped. I decided just to use the key to open the door and quickly start the car so that the security system wouldn't go off.
I was just on my honeymoon for the past two week and my dad tried to use my car and now it is all messed up. The car will not start due to what I think is the security system preventing it from doing so. The red light on the dash board blinks quickly three times all the time. Is there a way to reset the security system so that I can start the car again?
