Just bought a 98 V6 Camaro yesterday. Gearshift is a little stiff until it is warmed up 121k miles, any thoughts?

I would definitely start by changing the fluid. A low fluid level or extremely dirty fluid could cause this. Royal Purple synchromax is a good fluid, if it's available to you.
