    Ok, so I've received the 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro-Series differential, and I have the ABS ring shipping today. What else should I get ahold of before doing the install? Are there gaskets and what-not that I need to look into? Any special tools aside from jack-stands and a good ratchet set? Any heads-up here would be very much appreciated. Oh yeah, how much time should I expect this install to take? After looking at the install guide and the Hayne's manual, it looks like it might be a two day job, but does anyone out there have a better idea after doing the install themselves?

    Any other information here would be highly beneficial. I have only done minor bolt-on mods so far and if I'm getting in way over my head, please let me know.

    Re: Differential Swap

    Your in over your head.

    You will also need;

    pinion depth gauge,
    dial indicator and stand,
    assorted pinion and carrier shims,
    new bearings,
    pinion seal,
    pinion crush sleeve,
    new pinion nut,
    gear oil,
    limited slip additive
    and a torque wrench
    a dial caliper is nice to have but not 100% necessary

    Should take less then a day for a newb.
