  • Hurst Short shifter

    Hey all,

    Ive had a hurst shifter for a couple years now but have no decided to throw is too big.

    Anyone replace the shifter stick on the billet shifter....i want a shorter one but dont wanna go to short or buy the wrong one.

    depending on how much threading is on your stick you can just cut an inch or 2 off, thats what i did with my pro 5.0 shifter

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

      or just cut below the threads and get a shift knob that has a set screw on the side
      Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
      Custom interior...

          Keep in mind, though, that cutting, or buying a shorter stick doesn't actually shorten the throw...
          Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..

              Ive always thought the throw was both the height of the stick and the length it has to go
