is there a difference from the 3rd gen's T5's to the 4th gen's T5's. I understand the older ones bolted to V8's and would need a different bell housing but is the bolt pattern from the housing to the trans case the same?

Their is but I can't think what is was exactly, the input shafts or bell housing. I know my 96' was a Borg Warner and when I blew that one up and got a 00' it said it was a Tremic or something on it. yeah im thinking the mount is different, input shaft, and i think the shifter location is also different.
