My differential broke recently, i going to buy one out an 02 SS.. .. .. but i gotta take it out my self how hard is it? any body got a write up on replacing rear ends? thanks in advance

search and you'll dind lots of stuff.
basicly here it is
1. unbolt 4 bolts off driveshaft to yoke on differential
2. unbolt brake line at the "T" fitting on the top of pumpkin
3. unplug any sensors that may be in the way.
4. unbolt panhard bar
5. unbolt shocks
6. pull rearend out.
Not sure what year you have so new rearend is gonna be disc, do you have drum or disc now. What type gears do you have now? do you know the gears for the SS rear end? Now would be a good time to drain fluid out of rearend on SS and refill before you install it.
