BTW I was finally able to get the bellhousing bolts off with a 20" extension, a swivel, a small breaker bar, and my jack handle to add leverage. For anyone that gets stuck like I did, especially being as inexperienced as I am, its a PITA but it is do-able. Also, I used lots of PB blaster, and I would assume that it helped.
I didn't need to lower the transmission to access the bolts, but I can see how that would help given the space constraints. My main concern was that angling the transmission down might put even more tension on those PITA upper bolts. At this point, I'm just glad its done.:rock::banana:Comment
