hi just wanted to know what are the symptoms that your clutch is slipping. the clutch peddle on my 2000 firebird, feels loose. It does not fill hard like it use to.
could that mean i will need a new clutch soon. if so can anyone tell me where could i get a cheap one
i conformed it i need a new clutch. Does anyone know where i could get a cheap clutch, while i save some money to buy a good one it only be a couple of weeks. this is the only car i have and i need it to go to work.
well there is always autozone and advanced auto. i know a few people on here got them from autozone. if you have plans to do performance you might want to upgrade since your in there.
before you get a new clutch, if your pedal felt week, I would go change the fluid(search it, its kind of a pain, save yourself the headache and get a mightyvac)
I had lots of fluid problems, where my clutch fealt dead, and I did fluid swaps, pedal felt better and clutch worked fine.
but then again if its your original clutch its most likely dead....
If you do swap it, I woudl put in a new slave cylinder(from GM) in.
hi again just got my car back with the new clutch. can anybody give me any tips on how to make my clutch last longer. if i don't down shifting will that help.
if i use the heel toe will that also help. ill take any tip. thanks
yeah if you rest your foot on the clutch pedal at all, even if you dont think youre putting any pressure on it, it is still disengaging the clutch just a tiny bit, making it slip

Went ahead and moved my starter wire from the back, to the front again since it had no effect on my drain on the battery. Also made me nervous driving...
