i got a trans mount that looks like this:

how would i go about installing it? I looked at the stickies, but all i see is this "1le mount"

the bolt holes seem to be the same, but where the center stud would go is a little offset from the stock mount (5 speed)

yeah, you have to cut your crossmember.
there's a couple posts in the "how to" section

      Re: trans mount

u dont have to cut out ur crossmember...ive installed 2 of these on my car...its 2 bolts into the tranny then 1 that goes threw the crossmember...4 bolts take off the member...shouldnt take longer than 20 mins

        Re: trans mount

thanks, i took a look at the how to, and all i have is the mount, thats IT no hardware or anything.. so how would i go about doing it?

i assume i could take the old bolt thats in the mount and screw it into the mount, but what about the height? would i need to put a bunch of washers on it?

            Re: trans mount

yes, he HAS to cut/grind out the bolt holes on his crossmember to get the bolt from the mount to go through

                anyone got a picture?

also, is it ok to just install a bunch of washers on the nut/bolt to make it stock height again?

then it's because you have an older car. 98-02 must be different. the op has a 98 and already said this:

"the bolt holes seem to be the same, but where the center stud would go is a little offset from the stock mount"
