OK, I've done some searching and no luck. I remember reading somewhere that for some strange reason, a LS1 rear-end will not bolt right upto a V6. I think it was the brake lines are different, but I'm not too sure. I've the opportunity to get one from a wrecked 98 LS1 TA with only like 50K on it. So, has anyone done this swap, or know for sure if it will work? I like the rear, it has LSD, nice brakes, fairly new pads, painted calipers, only thing I don't like is the 2.73's, but they will be replaced with 3.73's hopefully. So, should I get the rear or will it not work?

This is really the best way to swap a rear axle...no need to open the brake lines or dealing with bleeding the system.
