    Did you try searching first?
This question is asked twice a week. Go a machine shop, or some mechanics shops. The price will vary depending on what area you live in. And dependin on what size you are go to and what size you are going from, you may be able to do all the work yourself and save you a bundle.

Gear install is not a DIY job...the pinion depth has to be set to a thousandth of an inch, otherwise the gears will fail. The only thing an amateur can really handle is a posi install, so long as you remember the way the shims were set up.

For a gear install, be prepared to say goodbye to at least 300 of your close friends

i had 3.42 gears from the factory. i obtained a zexel torsen unit and a "Rearend Specialties" shop put it in for $200 labor + $10 fluid. But I had a pinion seal leak for the longest time (leaking on my muffler did not smell too good), so with the new pinion seal put in they charged me $257.

            well worth it!
