    it couldnt hurt.

if you decide to, might as well do tranny fluid too and take care of the whole drivetrain

      Re: Diff Fluid

Is this a pretty easy thing to do? Tomorrow is my only day off (6 days a week is killin me...) and I've been neglecting both my rides so tomorrow which will probably be raining like it is today but I gotta get some work done so its time to man up and do what I can and this is one of em.... So,for a noob is it pretty simple?

            Re: Diff Fluid

Since I havnt done the tranny fluid yet. Do I have to take the whole pan off, or is it just a bolt?

Happyness = if its just a bolt.

If it is the entire pan, should I get a new gaskit too?

              Re: Diff Fluid

its the pan, then you have to fill it through the dipstick tube, and you will pretty much need a new gasket, and filter, auto parts stores should sell what they call a filter kit wich comes with all the good little things you need, just dont screw up anything while you are in there
