    i'm getting a rear end out of a 2000 WS.6, it's got 3.42s and posi. i now have 3.23s and a open diff...sucks...

when doing the swap i'm wondering what all i need...i know i need:

    -ebrake cables
    -brake backing plates

also when i do this swap i am going to be doing a rear drum to disc conversion and hopefully getting the parts off of a junk yard Z28.

what all would i need for that?

    i know:

    -calipers
    -rotors

    any lines? or any cables?

i've heard i WONT need a new master...any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Doesn't the WS6 rear come with all the brake hardware? You should find out what parts are missing from it to know what you will need to replace.

          i'm getting a ws.6 rear-end because my buddy put in a 9".

i need the ebrake lines, calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and backing plates.

i'm just basically looking for anyone that has done this swap to seek their expertise...

If you're getting an incomplete rear you will need all the missing pieces. The only part you would reuse from yours is the ABS harness and center brake hose, if they didn't come with the new rear.

Make sure his car doesn't have NW9 (traction control)

it is the center section and axles. he reused the brakes when he swapped in his 9"...and yes his car has traction control but he turned it off is that a problem?

I have a rear drum-to-disc brake swap that I never even put on my car if you want it...$120 shipped. Comes with rotors, calipers and brake lines. I dont have the backing plates, which is why I never put the kit on (got too busy with tuning, suspension, nitrous stuff, etc...)

Yeah, traction control cars have ABS sensors at each rear wheel, non-traction control cars have the sensor in the pumpkin.
