    what is if for what does it do when do i use it on a 95 firebird 3.4

    it's a half *** effort at traction control. It starts your trans out in second instead.
    Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

      dude read ur car manual i read the whole thing it mentions it. It starts the car in second gear to get better traction

          that dont sound logical to me i would think 1st gear would be a better way of gettin up to speed quicker at least thats what it feels like to me when i run it in 1st then try it in 2nd although it does burn off in 1st it just seems to me that in 2nd its bogged down IMO.

            It is for those who drive in the snow and rainor in any condition where the roads are slick. It starts the car in second gear so that very little power is immediately being placed to the wheels to prevent tire spinning and give SAFER acceleration in poor traction conditions.
