  • how do i know what gears i have in my car?

    ok i've seen people with 2.73s 3.08s 3.23s and 3.42s in 95 camaros
    Is there anyway easily that i can tell?
    like vin or sticker on the door
    1993 240sx 5 speed, Super Hicas, LSD, Stock for now<br />Sold-1995 Red T-Top 3.4 Camaro<br />Totaled-1997 Jade Green Cavalier 2.2 auto

    all and i mean all manual v6;s have 3.23's from the factory..the only way that you would have diff is if they had been changed by a previous owner

      Also all 3.4's manual and automatic have 323's If I am not mistaken

          any of the gears you listed would work, but yes you would see about a .2 decrease in ET going from 3.23 to 3.42

            At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
            Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
