? about 5 speed tranny

This is not on a v6, but it is almost the exact same setup and I thaught you guys might be able to help me. Here's the info:

I am swapping a 5speed tranny out of an '86 GTA into an '85 camaro that had an automatic in it. Everything seems to be hooked up right, but for some reason the clutch is not doing anything at all. I just put in a new slave cylinder thinking that was the problem, but that didn't fix it. It is a hydraulic setup, so I know that it does not need to be adjusted, and I have already bled the slave cylinder. Do any of you have any idea what I might need to do?

Someone told me I might need to bleed the master cylinder, but I don't know?

Any help will be appreciated.

3.8, 4-speed auto, 3.73 posi, custom functional ram air, Flowmaster single chamber, custom bent exhaust, wings west ground f/x, custom glow in the dark paint job w/ racing stripes etc.....<br />Soon: new racing motor(still a V6), and dual stage NX.
