how many people are running stage 3 shift kits? Just wondering how long ur tranny, rear end, driveshaft ect held up. I have a stock setup and went w/ stage 3 ...just wondering what i should expect, besides a HARD 1-2 shift :D

Yeah, I have the stage three trango, corvette servo, B&M shift module, and a 3000 stall converter. Everything works fine, no problems with over 20k on it all. Sometimes I used to hear my tranny slip a little (couldn't feel it) on the 2-3 shift. It shifts hard, jumps really hard. I love it. Go for it, you can always rebuild after a while. It's not that hard to do either. Hope i helped, realized nobody had posted.

No, I've never had a tranny rebuilt....I've done many myself. It really isn't that expensive to do, it just takes a lot of time, considdering the tranny removal and installation. stacking the clutches and plates is simple. And valve bodies are easy also, the transgo kit is actually a valve body kit....and a servo. I'm not saying having a tranny rebuilt is cheap, but it's the labor you are paying for. If you manage to do the transgo install, you have plenty of skill to rebuild.
