  • Wet Toilet Paper Trick??

"Getting that pilot bushing out is no fun, but the wet toilet paper trick does work. Simply stuff some wet toilet paper in the middle, then tap firmly with a 3/8" extension. Continue to add more and more paper until the bushing finally falls out".

I'm gonna be replacing my clutch soon, but I had no idea of this trick. Is this only for the V8's?

the haynes manual says to use bearing grease.. basically fill the cavity with grease and do the same thing.. since the grease doesn't compress it will force the bearing out from behind.. never done it myself but it seems sound to me..
