Is my transmission going?

Lately my car has been flaring up a bit hwen it shifts(A4), it only happens at the end of second gear, it flares up by 100-200 rpms. i just got it serviced 2 weeks ago and the guy said there were no abnormal chunks of metal or anything and just normal wear and tear, so what could be going wrong?? Maybe the vacuum modulator or torque converter???

Try the simple things first. Some shops have a bad habit of over filling or under filling the fluid. The symptoms could be a few things with one being the fluid is low. Check the fluid when the car has been driven for over 15 minutes and the fluid is warm. The transmission should be in park, the engine running (at idle) and the car level. The fluid should be in the warm to hot range.
