    i am putting mine in and i got a auto i was wondering how supported your tranny with a jack did you just use a board between the pan and the jack or where did you put it i don't want to mess up the pan but see no where else :rolleyes:

    I have another questiong about those what the heck do they help?

      Just put the Jack under the pan with a board.
      And then they help because they stiffen up the drive line getting more power to the wheels sort of.

          You can put a jack under the rear of the tranny. There are instructions over at www.installuniversity.com

              Will one work on my A4 and if so i know i can get a 1le one from gm, but how much to have one installed, cuz i am going to have them put in the transgo and vette cervo, so i was wantin them to put in a tranny mount

                ok the board under the pan worked fine i got the mount on but the hole in the crossmember did not line up with the hole in the new mount which i was told would happen so i tried to grind the crossmember and it took forever and still never got it right what did you guys do to match the wholes up ? and why do they send you those two bolts when the sobs don't even fit they did not fit into the damn mount they sent with it or the tranny holes :mad:

                  I put a jack on the end of the transmission by the driveshaft. mine did not line up at firest, i turned it arond and it fit fine. It looks like you can put it either way, but i guess you cannot. I also had the bolts on loosely, and let hte tranny down slowly, then tightened it so it had enough play to move around and line up correctly, with the tranny raised it comes in at a funny angle.

                  It feels great, most people say, My shifter was reall floppy in my 5-speed, i figured, maybe the rubber was tired, I was goign to swap it, turned out my stock ne was broke. i changed it, and it shaved about .2-.3 off my 1.4 mile over my stock broken mount.

                  When you floor it theengine flexes, moving hte transmission, so some of the power gong form the motor is gong to moving the transmission to the side, with a stronger mount, it convert the force to move the pwoer to the wheels, where it should go.

                  poly ones are stornger and better performance wise, but they re said make the car vibrate more, casuing some interior noises. 1LE tranny mounts are softer then poly, but stiffer then stock. I did not notice any more vibrations but my car has vibrations and rattles as it is. And i have heard of it lowerng our sifter and causing problems so the shifter hits the center console by the ashtray. but i have no problems with htis what so ever. I think its a very worthwile mod.

                  doen't matter how much HP u make at the flywheel, it matters how much gets to the wheels.
