I am calling today about a z28 rear end. I think i am going to get the whole rear end with axles and everything instead of just the chunk. I am going to get one out of a z28 with the 3.42s. The reason for this is i wont have to line up the gears and all that stuff and i can put it in myself and also save money because of no install fee. My question is what all years z28 rear ends will work with a 96 camaro? and is there anything else i will need besides the rear end and is it a direct hook up or whatever?

Ok, here we go again!
For your 96, any rear from 93-97 is a direct bolt-in.
You will ONLY need the emergency brake cables for DISK brakes.
Any more questions you may have, do a search. There's tons of answers there.sigpic
