4.10 gas mileage within

First time I ever checked gas mileage. Half highway, half city, came out to 22mpg. I have to mention that on the highway I'm always above 3K. Usually 3.5K. On the street I drive aggressively. WOT alot. Almost no easy driving on this tank. Rarely is the car being just cruised around. Top speed is only 90mph with 3.42 programming. I was actually surprised by the results. I got a total of 410 miles when it hit E. I converted to correct miles(times .83) and divided by 15 gallons.

I'm going to do this again on this tank. I forgot to put my injector cleaner in the empty tank when I filled up. I'll probably just put it in the full tank and "mix" it good. ;)

ok dom i currently have a 95 3.4 5 speed my top speed is like 115mph i just purchased 3.42 gears so if i install them i will top out at 90mph is that what u meant

That's a little better gas mileage than I get with my 4.1:1 gears. I drive fairly aggresive in the city, and run about 3000 on the highway. I usually about 20 MPG.

No. 4.10 gears with 3.42 programming will have a top speed of 90mph.

Weird thing is that 90mph top speed is what I get when I plug in 3.08 programming not 3.42 programming. Somehow the top speed is still the same. I should have a top speed of 98mph. Something in the PCM is not right. I'm going to have to test my 3.08 PCM and compare.
