  • What is a good replacement clutch?

    It is about time to replace my clutch and it is my first time ever replacing a clutch. I hear different things about materials and stages, i was hoping u guys could give me some suggestions and info about what type of clutch to use?

    most have the centerforce dual friction and no complaints. the price is also very reasonable for the quality of the product!

        yeah I e-mailed spec and got a good response from em.. seem to have excellent customer service...

          Spec does have excellent customer service and an excellent product.

          I like my Stage II, do a search on this to get more info.

            i love my certerforce dual friction clutch set i have not had any problems it is the best

              if i was gonna buy a clutch i would probably buy the Centerforce 1 or 2, the 1 holds 30% more power than stock and 2 holds 60% more, unless your goin to a poweradder i wouldnt put the dual friction, its a little overboard for NA i think, they are also cheaper than the DF...

                While we're on the topic of clutches (and I see at least one person has replied about the SPEC stage II), I was curious to what the price was for it? Star is based out of a town just a few miles from me, & I've heard good things about their clutches (from everyone but the LS1 crowd, that is).

                  well, im going to go against the group here, i will not reccomend a centerforce clutch, the most i got out of my dual friction was 8000 miles, of EASY driving with only 3 trips to the drag strip, i will never use a centerforce again...
