Does this thing do anything good? I've heard it creates more problems than it helps. I've had one sitting in my room for about a year now. Anybody know? Thanks

Initially it seems like it is a great thing.
You can switch between stock, level 1, and level 2 for shift firmness.
I ran one for 6-9 months.
From what we have found out this product raises the tranny line pressure to the point where, after a prolonged period of useage, the internal mechanism's pop apart.
:(
I would not suggest installing this part.
The b&m shift KIT, not improver, however (cost's $40) is a great start

I have one... hasn't hurt my tranny yet. I dont' use it much. Doesn't help in 1/4 racing. Does help in partial throttle city driving.

I'd go with Transgo to do it again.
