i dont think it will hurt it.. but u might just not get the full effect from the shift kit.

you ever have problem where when your driving car for a long period of time and its hot out and when you accelerate from zero pretty easy and it kicks hard into 2nd gear?

search for p1870. its fairly common and there is a fix for it (sonnax transmission makes a replacment pulse control valve).

yea and if theres a tranny shop named Aamco around your house they will more than likely know about the p1870 code. someone told me about it from massachusetts and i found that tranny shop here in michigan and went there and told him about it and he knew what it was and said would be $350 to fix, but i was thinking bout getting trans go shift kit and vette servo installed from them also while they have valve body open.. but dont know if will mess up my torque management

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
