Possible Tranny Problem?

I have a question.
I recently had a torque converter installed. Then now all of a sudden my gears seem to be messed up. If I want to go into drive from reverse I have to shift to third then back to drive or else it wont work. And in order to go to reverse I have to go back to park then to reverse or it won't work either. Also, my parking gear doesn't hold my car. I have to use my parking break or my car will move. Any ideas what is up?

Whisper Lid, SLP CAI, KN Filter, 3\" HiFlo Carsound Cat, full 3\" mandrel-bent piping, Flowmaster 80s, Casper O2 Sim, BM Tranny Cooler, Vigilante 3300 Torque Converter, Corvette Servo, 3.42 gears, SLP take-off LSD, Manual Fan Switch, & 160 Thermostat.

well i didnt have a torque converter installed but my car is doing EXACTLY what urs is doing. I have no clue why either if u have found out anymore information let me know, PLEASE ASAP. Thank you
