Why is it when I'm at 1300RPMs or so + or - a few and I'm in any gear...either 1,2,3,or OD I hear a low whining sound from the tranny. I just had problems with it and they replaced the MAF and the Cat sensor. I'm concerned...is there anything to worry about?

Whining noise might mean that the oil pump has broken vane rings. This should also cause vibration in reverse. So they replaced the MAF and cat sensor(O2s?) and it didn't go away? Who diagnosed this problem? What did they tell you the whining was and what was it caused by?

Ok dom...they replaced that O2 sensor and the MAF. The hard shifting went away but NOW I hear a low whine from 1,200 - 1,500 RPMs. I'm not concerned about it too much because that's the only area I hear it and the tranny shifts/operates perfectly fine now.

BTW, my friend Nikon on the board here hooked my car up to that Autotap (I think it's called) computer and it said there are no codes and that everything is running properly.

      Maybe I'm just paranoid. :D
