a pretty big difference! i ran a 15.66 in cold *** air during the winter with my 3.23's, and i ran a 15.36 just the other night w/my 3.73's, i may run .45-.5 faster this winter, you should probably expect .3-.4, 3.08-3.42 isnt as big of a jump, its worth the money!

im not sure...all ive ever heard is that 3.4's are weak, but i know a guy that put 3.73's in his 3.4 5-speed that loves them as much as i do! also, yours being an auto, 3.42's would probably be better so your shift points dont get all messed up and highway is still do-able...

You might not feel a difference with the 3.42's, but the 3.73's is much stronger. Can you say "Burnouts"?

If you dont mind the loss in gas milage then 3.73s. Otherwise just go with 3.42s.

              Gears make a big difference!

              3.73s in 3.4 = 3.08s in 3.8 for 0-60? I wonder...

Well I've got a 5 speed 3.4 with 3.73's and LSD and I absolutely love them. Being a 5 speed I can keep the revs low and therefore have just as good gas mileage as any other car (except for on the highway). On the highway, 80mph is runnin' at like 3000rpms or so in 5th gear. I wish I had a 6 speed to offset for these gears.

Man, I hope that's not completely true, because my car with 3.08s in it was a slug.
