anyone know where i can buy a new clutch and all parts needed for the install for cheaper than all these big name companies? i want a upgrade from stock but i don't want to pay so dang much. thanx for any help

I personally have a SPEC stage 3, and it has so far help my 100 shot no problems. It is a little pricey. You could go with the centerforce, it is better than stock and less expensive then the SPEC.<a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.fullthrottlev6.com</a> THE SOURCE!Comment

Centerforce for $300, not bad. But for $99 more you can get the stage 3 SPEC and it is known to be the better clutch. Will hold up to something like 750HP....If you can afford it, I'd go with the SPEC, more than one friend of min has had very bad experience with the centerforce, he's on this board.<a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.fullthrottlev6.com</a> THE SOURCE!Comment

Camaro Zach is also running a centerforce, he also has had great results with it.
I have no complaints and driveability is better than ever. It should last a long time too. Great for a street/strip car.
I didn't want to go the racing clutch route, so the centerforce is a great compromise.1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
