  • lsd parts?

    im gettin a zexel torsen lsd off of some guy who had it in a 2002 ws6. He showed me a picture of it only showed the large part on the top in the link below. What are those other two smaller parts on the bottom. im having it professionly installed... will they be able to get me the other two little parts if i need them... if i dont get them. i was just worried what they were in case i didnt get them and if i could get them somewhere else?

        The large metal piece slides into the diff after you install the axles and secure them with the c-clips. It keeps the axles from moving farther into the diff while you are driving around. Axle movement back and forth inside the rear end housing would be a bad thing. The screw is what holds that metal piece in the center of the diff and keeps it from falling out as the diff spins around. You need both parts if you plan to use the Torsen diff.

          Almost forgot....I don't think a rear end shop would be able to get just those parts, they should come with the diff if you buy it used.
