• stock drivetrain, changing gears, '99 3.8, have questions

I don't know much about my the stock rear on my car... So I don't know what parts I'm going to need but from what i hear, changing to a 3.73 ratio from stock is supposed to be a big difference... heres what i got...

    Differential, O.E.M. T/O Zexel-Torsen Camaro/Firebird bought from SLP

The gears I havent purchased yet, im thinking thunder racing...

do i need the complete gear package for my car or can i just but the motive gears?

im trying to figure out what i need before i go and get it installed

    Thanks!

Get some Motive 3.73's with the basic installation kit.. It comes with a new gaskit, and a bunch of other stuff.. You can find the gears for around 140.00 I forget what website it is..

Won't I need to get new axels because of the increased stress the gears will make? If so, what else would I need to replace? And where can I find these parts
