Engine runs but car doesn;t move

Hey i start my car and it runs however i smah the gas and the car is sluggish and hardely moves. I put it into 3 manually ( i have an auto) It does the same as it does with any gear. After like at 20 mph it kicks a bit and works is mh toque converter finally crapping out.

My new ride 2000 camaro, No mods yet still waiting for warranty to run out then all out heads, cam, and supercharger

Sounds like the TC or tranny rebuild most likely TC.
