I really want to get some 3.42's in the future. I've done some searches and I'm left confused on where to even start. What would I need to get to do the swap to the better gears. From what I understand, the easiest way would be to go to a boneyard and get the rear-axle off a Z28 6-speed (what do the LT1 auto's have?). Then could I just get the thing to bolt right on? How would this work with the conversion to disks from drums? What about ABS? Is there an easier way to change out the gears?
