Auto shifting problems

When an auto shifts from 2 to 3 and RPMs drop once, and then twice, is this a bad thing?

haha, thx adam. ok, here's what happens. when i give the car a little throttle, the car will shift into second about 2400 rpms and then when second reaches about the same, the car will shift down to 2k rpms and then, just 2 seconds later, the car will go down another 400 rpms, but it is in the same exact gear. and then, it will eventually shift into OD. is this 2-time second to third gear shift the torque converter locking up, or something else like a tranny problem? do any of you other auto drivers have the same thing happen to you? thx.
