whats the difference on the performance side between 3.42/3.73 gears i have a 98 firebird 3.8L auto trans and someone said i should change my gears.

refer to the mod database, however apparently they overexagherated the fuel economy issues according to some recent posts about it... who knows, but all you need to know is there
