  • Whats my gear ratio?

    how yall doin... i saw somewhere on an old post that if you look on your driver's side door sticker and you see GU4 then you have 3.08 gears, if you see GU6 then you have 3.42's. well, mine says GU5. what does that mean? are tey any good?

      3.23s. All manuals come with them. Better than 3.08s, but could be upgraded for better acceleration.

          If you've got a manual, then you've got 3.23s.
          Y87 autos come with 3.42s.

            At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
            Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
