A trans cooler is never a bad idea, I would do that regardless, speaking of which thats something I'd like to do before summer gets here..
Ive spoke to many people with the transgo, nobody hates it who had it installed. The vette servo will help a smidge too and its cheap to do so I hear, both are good modifications if you *want* firmer shifts. I doubt it affects ET much, but reducing time between shifts should reduce the ET by a small margin.
The torque converter is what will significantly drop your ET... Im talking 0.2-0.6 seconds in the 1/4 - big margin... A street/strip Yank 3000 is about as good as its gonna get, theyre around $700 new, if you want the best you can buy.
i want to go ahead and get the trans cooler so maybe we can do that at the same time..if you are doinga convertor a cooler is a necessity th with the added heat the convertor will put out...shift kit and servo are good for like .1 at the most ive seen and heard from LS1 people and the V6 people on here..
Ok jeff Im thinking that with the nitrous I should get a tranny cooler also. So if you think we can do it I will install it the same time you do. Why dont you get a shift kit also and a corvette servo.

only reason i dont want the convertor and shift kit/servo is because i value the warrenty right now....
and ive heard so many different things about the shift kit and convertor combo.i think it was keith who had link to someone saying they dont recomend them togehter..im confused..but i dont thinka tranny cooler would do anything but help on all of our cars.
I also need to change the Diff fluid also..im sure mine is low/burned or something..soo if someone wants ot give me astep by step on how to do this id appreciate it and what tools/material I will need
Went ahead and moved my starter wire from the back, to the front again since it had no effect on my drain on the battery. Also made me nervous driving...
