• Odered Hurst Short Throw

    Lame question I know...

In my other 5 speed(a z24), I had the stock shifter and the throws were long... when I bought a short throw I was able to chirp second gear. Can anybody with a short throw chirp 2nd with in a 3.8L or is it out of the question

I ALWAYS chirp second (even with my fat 275 tires), my goal is to always chirp 3rd (only done it once and I think it was a fluke).

I could chirp 2nd with my hurst when my clutch was stronger. If you haven't gotten one yet, go ahead and order a short stick for the shifter. It's worth the little extra money.

have to wait until next tuesday(when I get paid) before I can order it. I ordered the hurst short throw with left over money from last pay check. Should have enough for an exhaust and the short stick :D

search around, I got a ls1speed inc short stick for $20.

a stick is not something that needs to be a name brand. Its a ****ing stick

just find the cheapes one and make sure its shorter then the hurst shifter(which is like a little shorter then stock.)
