I am makeing a lockup switch no matter what people say it is going to hurt the tranny u wont benifit well its all good ill try for myself does somebody know what pin it is. Also when do u use a lockup switch after second right as u enter 3rd gear some help would be very much appericated

pinouts are in the tech database.. i believe its a tan/black wire.
Never lock up the car between the shifts.
Don't lock the converter up in second or first.
Only lock the verter up on the dyno.
If you lock it up at the track you will loose ET I gaurantee it. Our cars just don't make enough power to gain from it.. when you lock it up you bring the RPM's down too much and it just bogs the motor...
Locking the verter up will damage the clutch at WOT unless you have one specifically designed for a higher HP engine with tripple disc lockups.
I was not aware of all of this.. I locked mine up on occasion.. now my clutch doesn't lock up as fast as it did before.
Never again will I ever lock up the verter anywhere else besides a dyno.
