  • switch to posi!

I have a 2002 camaro that was wrecked. I've contemplated the idea of simply getting the z28/ss posi rear end seen as though I have disc brakes already in the car.
I suppose ill have to change the driveshaft as well.
Hope yall can give me your input. Im not too mechanically knowledgeable but im getting there.

Driveshaft is the same, although if you don't have a ALM. one that be a option also. You could just do the differential so you don't have to replace the whole rear.

Half of the rear end I currently have is wrecked.
I rather switch out the rear end than buy all the parts I need.
Sums up to about the same price

Some Z28's had 2.73 gears. DON'T get one with those.

Fo Real. Try and find one with a nice set of 3.42's, and this could be a good opportunity to pick up an aluminum DS as well.
