Pretty much what the title says. I have this really annoying rattle in my shifter when floor the car and rpms are at 4000 and up. I have a hurst short shift in there but put lock tight on all the bolts. Normal driving and accelerating everything is just fine, its only at WOT and high rpms. Anybody have any ideas?

Even the bolts for the stick itself? My short stick on my pro 5.0 was doing the same thing and the 2 allen bolts that hold the stick to the base were real loose. Might check your tranny mount also.1997 Chevrolet Camaro

O no I didn't tighten the 2 allen bolts, I'll have to check that tomorrow at some point. Someone else I was talking to mentioned tranny mounts, guess I'll give those a look too.Comment
