Look at the pictures in the links in my previous post. And - NO.

I got the optional white ball - it comes with black otherwise.

I think I'll stick with black. Does the one with "stops" do anything for the extra $20? That's if you're like SLAMMING it into and out of gear right?

I didn't get them. Read the eBay text closely.

              Re: Short throw

Just an update on this, I strongly suggest against this shifter. I don't know if I got a bad one, or what but in my car it will not stay in first gear. All other gears were fine, but it popped out of first. Put my stock back in and no issues...

You bought the Hurst right? That sucks your having problems, Im guessing its the shifter itself since you switched back to your stocker and have no problems. I have a B&M Ripper in my '00 and have never had any problems and I bought it used from someone on here. I love that shifter, best $50 dollar mod Ive bought.

I just put the same shifter in my car (hurst from ebay) and haven't had any issues yet.

I got that same hurst shifter, and it wouldn't go into third gear, kept popping out. I emailed the seller and he ended up sending me a spacer and longer bolts to attach it to and haven't had a problem yet. Got a littler over 500 miles on the shifter.

Never had a problem with this shifter since the day I installed it. I DO NOT the stops on mine.
