Just bought a shift kit and it was delivered today. How complex is it to install? How long does it take?

      Re: Shift kit

I had mine done by a professional although it has a video with it if you want to try it yourself, its a big difference having a shift kit.

Its not bad at all. Between the paper instructions and the video online its not bad. I'd never seen the inside of an automatic transmission and I installed mine myself. Just make sure you get the bolts back in the right places or it will lock up your transmission. I just drew a picture to make sure I remembered right. Easy peazy.

The servo ya mean? Did you watch the video online? Mine was pretty frustrating to get back in...but seems like coming out wasn't too bad. Whats the hang up?

Yes sorry. My phone autocorrected like always. -_- and it would allow the cover to come out... but it'd stop like it was caught on something. Literally would not move. I didn't want to put too much pressure on the damn thing. Put it back and gonna try again tomorrow... back on couldn't get retainer to go back in either. It was all a joke.

                  What video are you watching?

Just got it installed. It doesn't have my TCC issues and it shifts well now. Next step do the intake mods. :)

I got a Transgo reprogramming technicians kit. Some people recommend B&M based on how much of an overhaul you want.

I would recommend the TransGo Reprogramming Kit
