:banana:I have a question. Who makes the best 3.8 Series II V-6 with the Tremec T-5 on the '95-'02 F-bodies? I am in the process of changing the clutch, and am wondering if the stock one will keep up with the Centerforce street clutch. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Best Performance Flywheel?
I would think having a lighter flywheel in a 3700 pound car would just eat a clutch pretty quick. Could be wrong though.1997 Chevrolet Camaro
L26, Pacesetter headers, SLP cai, Centerforce DF clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, UMI short stick, 1le driveline, J&M 35mm front swaybar, UMI lca's/phb/sfc's, KYB AGX shocks, Hotchkis stb.

since it is lighter, it wont store as much energy as a stock flywheel, so more gas is needed to get going.
the only benefit a lighter flywheel has is it will allow the engine to rev up quicker

Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
