    Re: S10 converter

I'm picking one up early this next year. Brian (bigbrian442) had one in his car for a while. A few other members have also had them along the way.

Got a link? Best I could find with them in stock was a special order from Autozone (still a Dacco reman).

Yes its eather going to be a 94-97 S-10 converter for 93-98 F-body and a 98-02 S-10 for a 99-02 F-body. You just have to match the Clutch material type older is Carbon filled and newer is woven graphite. The older 93-98F-body is dacco # B24-HBCD and the 99-02 is B24-HBFD. they are rated at a 2560 stall but in out cars satll over 3000 around 3200 i got mine straight from my local dacco dealer for 160 but you can find them online much cheaper.

                    they are S-10 pickup 4x2 2.2L 94-02
