  • Gave her a wash

Well, I washed the car yesterday and decided to finish up detailing today. The car had ~5months of dirty, grime, dust, etc on it and after 4hrs of work, she's nearly done!

    After:

I still have to do the tires and put another coat of wax on, but figured I'd show you guys what I've got. I'm stilling waiting on a body kit, RS spoiler, and then have to decide on which rims I want to go with.

Wheel wells are as clean as they're going to get. I scrubbed them down, but most of that is caked on, mixed with tar and all that.

I did have 10%, but got a ticket for it. Haven't made it back to my tint guy since then :(

I'm pretty sure I'm reading it right; the area under the body that the wheels set back into; like I said, they've been scrubbed down, nothing else is coming off of them.

Just need to get it repainted. The old paint is faded badly and is cracking. I plan on getting the whole car repainted, once I find a RS spoiler, some nice rims, and get the cash :P. I already have a Vizage body kit to put on it, but it needs paint as well.

Seems like the PO might have painted it with bedliner or something, because the paint has a texture to it. I washed them off best I could, and they still stay rough, so....

you could wet sand and polish with 2000 grit...that might help a little...

Probably not man. I'm about broke :(. I'll have to see how my paycheck is this week, and how well I do in tips and then get back with you guys; I already told my manager that I might need it off, depending on how the week goes, and he said OK, so the only thing holding me back is cash.
