    Re: SS Spoiler install

I've noticed that the lights on my spoiler stay on all of the time. They do get brighter when the brakes are applied, but dimly stay lit without my foot on the brak pedal.

Is this normal or a sign that I need the resistor?

      Re: SS Spoiler install

IIRC my led light bulbs in my stock spoiler stayed on very very dimly unless the brakes were applied even with the resistor. I thought it looked cool so i didn't address it. I believe it would take an inline resistor to fix that one.

My SS spoiler, however, does not stay on.

I feel like a dumbass for asking this, but the black foam stuff on the bottom sides is supposed to come off, isn't it?

I meant, the black foam on the underside is supposed to come off before I install it, correct?

It didn't come with any instructions

              Re: SS Spoiler install

Black foam? The thin stuff around the mounting holes? Keep that on, it will help seal everything and prevent possible scratching between the hatch and spoiler.
