I've had the same problem as you are having now. It took me and my friend 3 hours to figure out how to get to the upper screws that hold the speedo in place. All you have to do is pry the panel on top of the dash, i guess the dash cover (You know where the defogger vents are? See how that whole thing is one piece?) Pry it carefully with a screwdriver or something. It is not screwed down. It is held in place by some kind of Velcro or something. Once you do that, you are gonna have access (very small and tight) to the top screws that hold the speedo cluster down. When you manage to unscrew those, you can pull out the speedo cluster, but dont forget to unplug the wiring harness behind it.

      Hope this helps...

Um, if you just wanna remove your guage cluster, simply take out the four screws that hold it in and pull. Its kinda tight, but thats just b/c its plugged in, youll know what i mean when you get it out. no need to take off your whole dash.
