• My T-Top Flew Off, As Well!

Mother****er **** **** ****.

...I feel better now. Yeah...it was damn scary. I was speeding up in the fastest lane on the expressway goin pretty fast and all of a sudden WHOOOOOSHHHH! I look up, and I see the thing just take off!! Not only did my heart drop but like I totally was in shock that I was doin like 50 and all these cars were passing. Atleast it didn't hit anyone/anything.

Umm, my question is - all all T-tops the same for 93+?

Can someone refer me to a cheap place to buy one? It's my drivers side, 96 bird. Thanks. I'm still coping :(

holy crap how does a T Top fly off like that? I thought they mount in such a way that its flush with the roof line and it can lock in.... aghh i hate winter- i forgot what the RS looks like since its under snow!

good luck dude. check listings on here, LS1.com, and Z28.com- youll find one on there cheap.

Okay, I'm sorry. Somehow I started this rash of flying t-tops after I saw it happen last weekend, and posted a question wanting to know how often it happens.

This is my official apology :D

This guy was selling them for about $89 each a few weeks ago. They might be on his ebay site here: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&userid=fparts

dont go to your local dealer. theyll overcharge you compared to what you could find on ebay or one of the fbody boards. shouldnt be too hard to find one. good luck

Hey, I have a site that sells used f-body parts for pretty cheap. When you get to the site, look for your part, if it's not there, they don't post all of their parts. Call their number and ask them if they have what you need, and they'll tell you. I've done business with them for a while now, they are pretty quick about getting it to you too. www.speedautomotive.com
I'm pretty sure that they'll have one. Good Luck man!

I still can't believe that happened!
