  • Trans Am Spoiler on Firebird Hatch ?

Did anyone put a Trans Am Hatchspoiler on an Stock Firebird Hatch ?

I see a 1996 Firebird Convertible with a transam spoiler on ebay.com but the picture quality was very very poor.

so, does anyone have pics ?

I've never seen a Trans Am hatch on a convertable, but if you're talking about regular cars, I have a Trans Am hatch on my V6 Firebird.

The Auction doesent exist any longer, but it was a black 1997 Trans Am convertible with yellow side letters and a transam spoiler like this:

        http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7958493396

on top of a hatch like this:

        http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4532302656

but the picture was very poor quality,....

and i dont mean the complete hatch, just the top spoiler on the stock firebird hatch ;)

x2 unless its a convertible then i think the only way you can is to mount it on top

Take out the glass, and cut/shave off the part of the hatch that flows around the glass.

but then you would have to take into account the weight diff between the two, to see if the hatch could be lifter by the motor.

it takes a lot of fabbing to get it to work. I looked into it but decided against it once i saw how much glass work i would have to do.
